Michael Bisping wants Weidman to Beat him

British Mixed Martial Arts exponent Michael Bisping has landed his shot Chris Weidman, stating that if he wants to prove to the world that he is better than him, and then he should at least nail him and prove that. Bisping who is fighting as Middleweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship or the UFC after being the Light Heavyweight champion at Cage Warriors is extremely unhappy with the way the promotion is treating Weidman. And to prove his point, Bisping is ready to defeat him inside the ring and prove that he is the rightful contender for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

The Count has openly expressed his dissatisfaction at the step motherly treatment meted out to him by the UFC and has openly challenged fellow Middleweight fighters to determine who gets the shot at Anderson Silva and his UFC Middleweight Championship. And if the ranking system is anything to go by, Michael Bisping has no chances of facing Silva for the title in the near future, with his status as the fourth Middleweight fighter in the UFC.

The 28 year old Weidman is still undefeated in Mixed Martial Arts and he thrashed Miguel Munoz, who was ranked as the third Middleweight in the UFC, recently to record his 9th straight victory. And it is being believed that this win over the world number three has pleased UFC president Dana White a lot, who is considering his options, among which is a title fight between Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.

However, White openly stated some time back that Weidman needs to prove himself a bit more before he gets a shot at Spider and Michael Bisping has raised his hand, stating that he could take three of his closest contenders for the slot on one night, one after another to stake his claim at Spider.
